Lord Jesus was crucified according to the Jewish calendar on Nesians’s 14th in Jerusalem. It was Friday. Saturday passed.

He was risen from the dead on Sunday early in the morning. According to Jewish custom, the calendar day is started after sunset. Therefore, before the beginning of Sunday Jesus was risen from the dead on the 16th of Nesian, 33e.

We don’t have a verse in the Words regarding the burial of Jesus, just as we don’t have two and two make four in the Word. However, with some confidence we can say that his relatives must have arranged a burial. Jesus was related to the chosen nation of Is’ra-el (Israel). They observe their rituals and law with great favor and care. It is necessary that people of any religion perform their rite and prayer of burial according to their belief. So we can guess that in the lifetime of Jesus, Many Pharisees and Faqeehs embraced Christianity and someone must have performed his rite of burial (John 19: 38-40).
